1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Translate Now: AI Translator ("the App"), developed and operated by Coachie, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Use of the Service

Translate Now provides AI-powered translation services for text, photos, and real-time voice conversations. The App supports both on-device translation (via Google ML Kit) and cloud-based AI translation (via OpenAI). You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use the App to transmit harmful or malicious content
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the translation services
• Use the App to process content that violates the usage policies of our third-party service providers (including OpenAI)

3. Data Transmission

When using AI-powered cloud translation models or the real-time AI voice conversation feature, the text or audio you submit is sent to OpenAI's servers for processing. Only the content you provide for translation is transmitted — no personal information or account data is shared. When using the Standard (on-device) translation model, your content is processed entirely on your device and is not transmitted to any external server.

By using the cloud translation features, you acknowledge and consent to this data transmission. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

4. Translation Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate translations, AI-powered and on-device translations may not be perfect. Translate Now should not be relied upon for critical, legal, medical, or safety-related translations. We recommend professional human translation for important documents and communications.

5. Subscriptions and Billing

The App offers premium features through auto-renewable subscription plans:

• Weekly Plan — $9.99/week, includes a 3-day free trial for eligible users
• Monthly Plan — $29.99/month, no free trial

Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

The 3-day free trial is available on the Weekly plan only and is typically offered once per Apple ID or Google account. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at $9.99/week.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Play Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until then.

6. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Coachie and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit for translation. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing translation services. Content submitted via cloud translation may be processed by our third-party AI provider (OpenAI) in accordance with their terms and privacy policy.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Coachie shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to errors in translation, service interruptions, data loss, or any reliance on translated content for critical purposes.

9. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including OpenAI, Google ML Kit, Firebase, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of these third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. Active subscriptions are managed by the App Store or Play Store and must be cancelled separately through those platforms.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
